TEN THINGS TO DO TO BUILD CONFIDENCE

We all have days and times when our confidence is lower, believe me when I say, it’s normal. We’ve all been there. In this newsletter, I’m sharing 10 ways that improved my confidence.

Whether you're facing a mountain of a presentation or just need a confidence pick-me-up for your next Zoom call, these tips will have you no doubt help

Ten Things to Do to Build Confidence

These are the 10 ways our founder, Hannah builds her confidence

1. I focus on what went well (WWW) today. Run through it mentally right before sleep. Sending me off to sleep in an abundant state & training my brain to focus on the positive. Because where attention goes, energy flows.

2. I accept compliments rather than shutting them down.

3. I celebrate small wins and live in the gain, not the gap. See the fantastic book by Dan Sullivan entitled ‘The Gap and The Gain’ for more on this..

4. I do hard things every day. It could be a cold plunge, a run (I’m not ‘a runner’), a tough conversation etc. Rather than avoid I deliberately plan them into my days to train my brain and expanding my capacity for hard things. Because life can be tough.

5. I dress for confidence (and comfort) and invest in getting my nails and hair done regularly.

Sharing Circle

6. I move my body and practice somatics. Setting aside time daily to tune into my inner landscape helps me trust in myself and trust the process.

7. I write a positive affirmation starting with ‘I am …’ on my mirror in whiteboard marker. I change it up when I feel like I need a new one, around every 3/4 weeks. Current affiliation reads ‘I am worthy’.

8. I visualise my goals and success.

9. I go on solo vacations and take myself on date nights (my dog is allowed to come though )

10. I feel fear and I do it anyway.
